Apply to ISW
At ISW, we don't do big, impersonal open houses. We do admissions the way we do everything else — one student at a time. Tours follow an initial conversation.
To begin, reach out through our inquiry form, by email at info@iswva.org, or by phone at 540-773-3814. For Kindergarten, we give preferred consideration to families who complete a phone interview, a building tour, and a full application promptly. For Grades 1–12, admission is rolling.
A complete application for admission includes:
- A completed application
- Official transcripts from all previous schools
- Copies of all standardized test results and educational evaluations
- Recommendations from three teachers (two for Kindergarten applicants)
- A parent conversation and tour with the Head of School
- A student visit with relevant faculty members
- A (one-time) application fee of $50
