MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER: JOB POSTING FOR 2018-19

The Independent School of Winchester is looking for an upbeat, experienced, loving teacher for our Middle School science program. Applicants must have a minimum of three to five years teaching experience as well as a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. MA and/or certification is preferred. Responsibilities include teaching an inquiry-based science program (which includes units in biology, chemistry, physics and earth science) on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

UPPER ELEMENTARY TEACHER: JOB POSTING FOR 2018-19

The Independent School of Winchester is looking for an upbeat, experienced, loving teacher for one of our Upper Elementary classrooms. Applicants must have a minimum of three to five years teaching experience as well as a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. MA and/or certification is preferred. Responsibilities include teaching an integrated humanities program (reading, language arts, and social studies) which focuses on award-winning children’s literature of the teacher’s choosing and mathematics. The schedule for this position runs Monday through Friday mornings and one afternoon per week.

DIRECTOR FOR HUZZAH!: JOB POSTING FOR 2018-19

The Independent School of Winchester is looking for an upbeat, experienced, director for Huzzah!, our student-led theater company. Applicants must have a minimum of two years’ experience directing student productions as well as a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. MA and/or teaching experience is preferred. Responsibilities directing two major productions a year.
